‘Voicing’
An exercise in exploring both voice as in expressing words, and voice as in making words public.
1. Start by choosing a quote among those you have been working with in Communication Design.
2. Explore ways to give visibility to a word by giving your quote a ‘body’ and making words public. What can this ‘body’ be? A piece of paper, a facade, food, packaging, an image, a sound wave, a gesture, an object? Leave the space of the classroom and explore making your quote ‘speak out’ within public space.
3. Now explore ways to create different meanings by working your quote through different contexts. How does the context affect your quote? Can a context silence or amplify a voice?

Ook deze opdracht heb ik samen met Diederick, Jochem en Lieke gedaan. We hebben gekozen voor de quote ''do they see me as a human being?'' We hebben nagedacht hoe deze quote in public space elke keer een heel andere betekenis kon hebben. Dit hebben we zo uitgevoerd.
